Advanced Neurorehabilitation Therapies & Sports
The association ANTS was created in 2015 by Vance Bergeron, a CNRS Scientifique Director at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. Vance Bergeron became tetraplegic in February 2013 after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle to work one morning. During his hospitalization and after returning home he has continued to regain strength and acquire maximum independence through a novel rehabilitation program that combines state-of-the-art technologies and sports training. Through ANTS this experience is being shared and further developed.
The « Carbon Trike », carbon fiber tricycle, was made in order to participate to the Functional Electrical Stimulation bike race on the Cybathlon 2016. The frame was manufactured by the Swedish Carbontrikes company, which constructs the world’s lightest recumbent tricycles.

Alors le bloc s’allonge indéfiniment.
Cela ne s’arrêtera-t-il donc jamais ?
Est-ce un puits sans fond ?
Donc si j’écris un mot très long il sort du cadre…
